Hvis du publiserer en Twitter-melding i dag, vil den være synlig for alltid, med mindre du sletter den.

Men nå planlegger Twitter å gi deg et annet alternativ.

Gjem innlegg

Har du publisert noe på det sosiale nettverket, men ikke ønsker at det skal være permanent synlig? Den nye funksjonen Twitter vurderer å lansere, lar deg gjemme gamle Twitter-meldinger etter en gitt tid (f. eks 30, 60 eller 90 dager eller et helt år).

Giganten skal også gi deg flere muligheter, blant annet muligheten til å begrense hvem som kan se innleggene dine og hvilke innlegg du har likt, fjerne deg fra samtaler, og fjerne følgere uten å blokkere dem.

Noen av funksjonene kommer i år

Når du skal kunne begynne å gjemme Twitter-meldinger, vet vi ikke enda, men funksjonen som lar deg fjerne deg selv fra samtaler, skal visstnok rulles mot slutten av dette året.

Og allerede i september begynninger utrullingen av funksjonen som lar deg fjerne følgere uten å blokkere dem. Om det er brukere i USA som får tilgang først, eller om også vi nordmenn får dra nytte av funksjonen samtidig, vites ikke.
